Warranty
Overview
This warranty policy explains the guarantees that apply to products purchased from tandem, how those guarantees work alongside any warranty offered by a product's manufacturer, and how to report a fault so that we can resolve it as quickly as possible. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces the rights you already have under law.
Statutory warranty
All goods sold by tandem are covered by the statutory warranty for defects. This means that if an item you receive is faulty, does not match its description, or is otherwise not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a remedy at no cost to you.
In line with the applicable legal framework, the usual order of remedies is as follows:
- Repair or replacement of the faulty item, whichever is possible and proportionate; and
- Where repair or replacement is not possible, or has not resolved the issue, a price reduction or a full refund, as permitted by law.
These statutory rights exist regardless of any manufacturer warranty and are not affected by it in any way.
Manufacturer warranty
Some products may also carry an additional warranty provided directly by their manufacturer. Where this is the case, the manufacturer's own terms, conditions and support channels will apply to that additional cover.
Any manufacturer warranty is offered on top of, and does not reduce or replace, your statutory rights described above. You may rely on whichever route is more convenient for you when a product develops a fault.
Reporting a fault
If you believe a product you have purchased is defective, please contact us at contact@taandem.shop as soon as possible. To help us assess and resolve the issue promptly, please include:
- A description of the fault, as precise as possible;
- Your order number; and
- Photos of the issue, where possible.
Once we have received your report, we will review the details you have provided and get back to you promptly to agree on the appropriate remedy.
